Why I Am Taking Design 200

I am taking the Design 200 course because it is required for completion of the Design Minor I am pursuing. Currently I am more interested in the visual communications aspect of the design program, but I am also under-informed regarding all of the possibilities design has to offer and am hoping that this course will be able to provide me some more information about design/design principals in general. I am generally hoping the course will fortify my decision to pursue a design minor while also expanding my understand of design and the skills/tools it can provide to me. I am also hoping the class will be fun because fun classes > unfun classes.
